"Lamb to the Slaughter" - I'm the Detective

If Iwas the detective investigating the murder of Patrick Maloney in "Lamb of the Slaughter" by Roald Dahl, I would have looked deeper in the story that Mrs. Maloney told me and take the process step by step. I would have hired FBI and probably call in the Husband's job and tak to his boss and co-workers. I would have cantacted his friends and see if they knew anything with him. I would have been a great detective.

"Lamb to the Slaughter" Mary's Giggling

At the end of “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl, Mary Maloney begins giggling because the policemen were trying to find the weapon, but what they didn't know was that they were eating it. Mrs. Maloney killed her husband with a piece of lamb by wacking it to his head. She put the big piece af meat in the oven so it would look like she didn't kill him. When the policemen were searching aroud for a big club they didn't suspect it to be the meat. After the police leave the house, I predict Mary will have a melt down and repeat the same thing with other guys that would leave her.

“The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant Airhead Stereotype”

Sheila Mant is a beautiful airhead because she doesn't pay attention to her surroundings very good. For example, when the canoe was going backwards, she didn't realize why it was. She didn't pay attention to the boy's actions. It is a stereotype because she is a blonde chick that is self-observant.

"Catch the Moon" Falling in Love

When one is in love, they might not notice it at first. Even as a teen, love was a stranger in my eyes. I had older people tell me that the right person for me is when I experience love at first sight. Two years after I got to SPA I was fooling around with other girls, but then “BAAMMM!!!” I met this girl. She wasn’t like all the others. She’s smart, funny, but she was only focus on her education. That was when she got here at SPA. When I laid my eyes on her, my heart started pounding against my chest. I never felt like this in my life. I knew I had to treat her right. Even now I am still with her, but our love isn’t that strong yet. I would say that it is at a point that we can sit on the phone, not saying anything and we would still enjoy it. She may not know this, but when she thinks I don’t notice things, I do. Something that I have noticed is that when I feel down or mad, she is always there to comfort me. I can say that she is my motivation. Now I know why older people say love at first sight because when I saw her, I knew she was the one. Some people might not call it love, but to me that is.

“The Highwayman and Typhoid Fever Comparison”

Bess dies trying to warn her love that the red- coats were at her house. Patricia dies thinking in shame for putting her love in trouble. For example, Bess was tied down with a gun pointed at her and if she moved, the gun would go off. For Patricia, she was talking to Frankie and in the Fever Hospital they couldn't talk or read peoms. But she kept going Until the Nun moved Frankie upstairs alone. Frank wanted to hear the end of the Highwayman because he wanted to see how it ended.

“Typhoid Fever– Present Tense Childhood Memory”

I am 9 years old and walking back from school with my sister. As we are walking, my sister gets lazy and asks me to give her a piggyback ride. Now I'm thinking, "No, you can walk!", but as usual she hits me if she doesn't get her way. So she hops on and we begin to walk again. On the way, she sees her friends walking back. She waves at them and they wave back. While she waves, she squeezes her legs into my ribs. It begins to hurt. I let go of her making her lose her balance and falls straight on her. I'm looking at her trying to catch her breath. The fall causes her to lose her breath and back problems.

“Two Kinds” In the Shoes of a Prodigy

If I were to become a prodigy, I would be a chef because I have the desire to cook. People all over the world would push me to fulfill my destiny. I would make my grandma happy because she is the one that is pushing me right now of becoming more educated and less trouble than my uncles and sisters. For example, Ni-kan didn’t want to be a singer, or a belly dancer, nor a pianist, that much. But her mother was pushing her hard and making her practice the whole week. I predict that the way my grandma is pressuring me, I will become a prodigy of my dreams.

“Two Kinds” Conflict Experience

An experience that I have been in was when my friend wanted me to steal a car radio. I didn’t want to do it because I have never stole anything before, but he said that I would be making money by selling them. Deep down inside me, I couldn’t believe that I did it because it is a crime to steal. After that, I told him that there are other ways to make money. Ever since then we been trying to get jobs, well I got a job . I don’t know anything about him because it has been awhile. All I know is that, I wont end up in jail for theft.
